Wednesday, March 27, 2019 – On March 9, 2019, Tridant’s CEO and USC alumnus, Annette Palazuelos, taught four classes on entrepreneurship to high school students for the USC Day of Service. This event, sponsored through the Alumni Entrepreneurial Network, provided entrepreneurial training in marketing to forty-five USC East College Prep High School students. East College Prep High School is a USC affiliated program and is a free public charter school with the Ednovate network, which has helped 100% of students earn acceptance to 4-year universities.
Ms. Palazuelos served as a role mentor and subject matter expert for entrepreneurial excellence at an event attended largely by Latino students. In her classes, Ms. Palazuelos covered topics such as how to target your market, how to conduct market research, and the importance of persistence and tenacity as an entrepreneur.
She was impressed by the caliber of students she encountered, saying:
“These young people are a breath of fresh air! They are so eager to learn and seek out mentors and education by any method. Each student spent their entire Saturday from early morning until afternoon learning about entrepreneurship, marketing, sales and presentation skills. Kudos to these young people who are the future pioneers of our country and to East College Prep High for their dedication to the youth of our community.”
