The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) awarded Tridant a contract to provide Data Management services to the Metropolitan Atlanta Developmental Disabilities Surveillance Program (MADDSP).

Tridant’s Data Abstractors will help the MADDSP track the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in metropolitan Atlanta among school-age children. Our Abstractors will securely access personally identifiable school records and clinical data sources to review the records of children who meet specific developmental disability criteria. They will collect information related to these children’s evaluations, diagnosis, and demographic characteristics to study the prevalence of ASD and other developmental disabilities.

Tridant’s CEO, Annette Palazuelos, is “excited to begin our work with the CDC and the MADDSP. We understand that the data collected and reviewed in this program will ultimately help inform public policy related to autistic children, raise awareness, and develop research priorities. This work will be for a worthy cause and we’re happy to contribute.”

Congratulations to the Tridant team! We look forward to performing these critical tasks.
