Thursday, May 28, 2020 – The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC-PHD) awarded Tridant Solutions with a $3.8M, 4-year contract to provide Material Technical Screening Support Services for NSWC-PHD operations. The four-year contract is a new requirement.
The Tridant Team will provide Material Technical Screening (MTS) support of procurement purchase requests and purchase request processing for all Departments and Line Codes at NSWC PHD.
Support service tasks include (not all inclusive):
- Purchase request reviews using the Navy’s Procurement Request Tool (PRT)
- Technical specification review
- Market research to obtain price quotes and interested vendor data
- Navy ERP data input for (1) material and service purchase requests, and
(2) outgoing funding documents - Purchase request status tracking on a daily basis
The Tridant Team’s support to Corporate Operations, Property Management Division (PMD) Material Technical Screening will (1) ensure the procurement purchase request’s accuracy, (2) confirm the technical specification’s adequacy, (3) provide appropriate suggestions for supply sources, and (4) confirm that requests meet the criteria established for acquiring NSWC PHD goods and services.
