Monday, June 10, 2019 – The Department of Homeland Security Health Service Corps awarded Tridant Solutions a 5 year, $1.3M contract to provide medical biohazardous waste collection/disposal services and safety training to regional DHS Health Service Corps medical clinics. The Tridant team will work closely with 18 medical clinics in 10 states to provide storage, pickup, transportation, and disposal of packaged medical and biohazard waste generated by the facilities.
Tridant’s CEO, Annette Palazuelos says “We are excited to support the Department of Homeland Security and add them to a list of our distinguished clients. Tridant will work closely with DHS in support of their mission – ‘Ensure a homeland that is safe, secure, and resilient against terrorism and other hazards’ ”.
In addition, Tridant will also execute OSHA safety training and certification; OSHA compliance inspections of medical waste collection stations; phase in and phase out plan; quality control activities; logistics and schedule coordination; operational reporting; security protocols; and emergency waste collection services under the contract.
