Tuesday, November 3, 2020 – The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) in China Lake, CA awarded Trilex Solutions, LLC (Trilex), a joint venture between Tridant Solutions and Saalex Solutions, Inc. a $5.8M contract to provide Machine Shop Maintenance and Repair Support services to the Applied Manufacturing Technology Division (AMTD) Machine Shops, at multiple locations in China Lake.
The Trilex team will provide support services to keep all machinery at full capacity and to manage inventory at the AMTD, one of the largest machine shops in the nation.
Support service tasks include:
- Routine/preventative maintenance
- Repair and rebuilding of machinery
- Calibration service support
- Inventory control
- Relocation and transportation of material or equipment
- Purchasing support
- Collection and management of hazardous materials
- Maintenance of wood and ESD flooring
- Custom packaging of AMTD manufactured materials
- Installation of Government-owned machine tools and related equipment.
The Trilex team’s support to the AMTD Machine Shops will (1) ensure routine preventative maintenance (2) provide action plans to address emergency equipment failures within specified timelines (3) provide material and logistics management (4) destroy, recycle, and collect hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
